Project Description:

The overall objective of the project is to increase the attendance rates in primary education which covers the first 8 years of the 12-year compulsory education in Turkey. The activities within this scope aim at increasing the capacity of MoNE personnel and to raise the awareness of all related groups on the prevention of non-attendances. Within the scope of the project, the Progressive Non-Attendance Management (PNAM) system will be strengthened, policy recommendations will be made for revision of the legislation and activities aiming at improving basic language skills of children who don’t have sufficient language skills for primary education will be realized.
